The Great Curtain Company‘s beautiful showroom is located in South Austin and has been deemed by many as Austin’s “dream source for draperies.” Founded by Lauren and Lexi Schultz, yes mom and daughter, the GCC has grown from a hidden treasure to the most unique drapery boutique in the Gulf Coast Region. Lauren, having been in the interior design business for over 25 years, had always dreamed of one day opening her own showroom filled with her greatest passion – CURTAINS and lots of them!

In 2006, that dream finally came true. Lauren and her daughter Lexi, armed with a graphic design degree of her own, set out to build their own little “Disney World” of the finest curtains on Earth. A place where customers can come and see, touch and feel the curtains and even take them home. These “curtaineers” continue to wow Austin with their extraordinary selection of fabrics, hardware and top treatments without ever losing sight of their concept… beauty and affordability.

“No packaged curtains here,” says Lauren. Our curtains are all created by nationally acclaimed workrooms in Texas. We are proud to say that each and every pair is made in the United States and always will be. We even offer professional drapery installation by bonded and insured installers if your husband wants to take a break!
